Richie comes from a filthy bloody canon, and he's also pretty spoilery. The list of objectionable material is as follows:

- Violence against and between children -> including bullying, attempted/fulfilled murder and parental abuse (physical abuse acted upon, sexual abuse threatened and implied)
- Gore exhibited on adults and children -> body horror of both human and fantastical natures
- Sexual activities between minors -> I have specifically taken Richie from a canon point where he will NOT remember engaging in said activities. This memory block will be both ICly and OOCly maintained for my comfort, your comfort, and character comfort.
- Racism, Anti-Semitism, Misogyny and Anti-Gay Harassment and Assault -> the book takes place both in 1958/59 and 1985 and there are attitudes expressed that reflect this fact. Several plot points/character arcs hinge around dealing with bigotry, and several violent attacks on the characters are based on such attitudes. Richie's position has always been defending the victim. He may reference these attacks in his tags.
- Racist and Anti-Semitic Humour, Derogatory Language -> Mostly during the childhood era but still prevalent in the adult portion. The protagonists were all comfortable with making offensive jokes with each other based on their differences, and Richie was by far the worst for it. Several of his impressions are blatantly inappropriate and demeaning. It might be IC for him, but I will NOT be engaging in racist humour. If you feel I have, please contact me and I will immediately and without question redact any segment that concerns you, avoid repeating the mistake, and ultimately respect any hesitation you might have threading with me in the future.
- Suicide -> Committed by an adult protagonist. Richie may mention this in meta, and possibly in dialogue if prompted. In game, he also has passing thoughts of suicide himself, as well as gallows humour. This will abate the more time he has to adjust to his new life.
- Drug Use -> Richie is a casual drug user. Canon has confirmed cocaine and marijuana. Considering the intensity of cocaine and his teen/college/adult years spanning the 1960s through the early 80s, his wealth, and his working in the entertainment industry, I headcanon that he's used other drugs as well. His only true addiction is smoking cigarettes. He will be using some drugs in game but I will be moderating how much is threaded and how much is handwaved. I will not be playing an intensive addiction/recovery plotline. His drug use will taper once he feels better adjusted in the setting, or may disappear entirely.

As for spoilers, his canon point is from near the end of the book, but just before they confront It as adults for the final time. As the characters are only capable of remembering things as they work parallel to the events of their childhoods (first encounters with each other and with It -> working out how to fight back, continued attacks and interpersonal development -> final confrontation), Richie will not remember how the childhood story arc is resolved. For specifics highlight the white text: Canonpoint is Chapter 20, Section 5, where adult Richie is driving Eddie's limo and taking them to the Barrens, where they plan to enter the sewers and kill It. For childhood recollection, he will remember climbing in and fighting off Henry Bower's gang into a standoff in the entrance, but no more after entering the pipes themselves.
